Nokia prepares lower middle segmentmobile phone

Music phone segment seems to still be sexy enough market for Nokia. This time through its new product, the Finnish vendor is targeting users with lower middle segment.

Nokia 5250 - Nokia is a new product - a music phone with touch screen capabilities and has a physical appearance quite interesting.

Equipped with 2.8-inch screen, 640x360 pixel resolution, and carries a standard candy bar design, this series comes with a choice of black, white, blue, and purple.

As quoted from the IT ProPortal, Thursday (08/26/2010), this Symbian-based phones are only equipped with 51 MB of internal memory, it can still be added with microSD up to 16 GB.

For the connectivity, the Nokia 5250 only supports quad-band GSM / EDGE, Wi-Fi access or 3G. Other features are 2 megapixel camera, FM Radio, and free application Mobile Guitar Hero 5.

As a music phone, 5250 was given access to purchase songs on Nokia's Ovi music store. With Ovi Music Unlimited service, we can even download various songs an unlimited amount.


The battery itself is claimed to be able stand up to seven hours of talk time, standby 18 days and 24 hours for playing music. Phones is sold for price of $ 145 and it will be available on the market in late 2010.
